Privacy notice
For the enquiry form on weddings.codeivy.co.uk. Updated 5 October 2026.
This notice explains what happens to the details you send us when you ask about a wedding app. If you are a guest at a wedding that uses one of our apps, that app’s own privacy policy covers you instead.
Who we are
Code Ivy Limited, in the United Kingdom (“Code Ivy”, “we”). We decide what happens to your details. You can reach us about anything in this notice at admin@codeivy.co.uk, or on WhatsApp at +44 7883 386716.
What we collect
- Your name, and the WhatsApp number or email you give us.
- Anything else you choose to add: the couple’s names, the month and city of the wedding, the colour you previewed and your message.
- Whether you came from the website or from the link inside one of our apps.
Why, and on what basis
We use your details to reply to you and to talk about building an app for your wedding. Doing that at your request, before any agreement, is our legal basis. Keeping the form free of spam is in our legitimate interests. We don’t sell your details, we don’t add you to a mailing list, and we don’t use them for advertising.
Who handles it for us
- Convex stores your enquiry, in the United States.
- Vercel hosts this website and keeps short-lived server logs.
- Clerk, the sign-in service behind our apps, also loads on this page and sets cookies on codeivy.co.uk that keep sign-in working. The enquiry form doesn’t use them.
- If analytics are switched on, PostHog records page visits and that an enquiry was sent, never what you typed into the form.
Some of these companies are based in the United States. Where your details leave the UK, they are protected by the safeguards UK law requires for transfers abroad.
How long we keep it
We keep an enquiry while we’re talking about your wedding, and delete it within 12 months of our last message unless you become a client.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it or delete it, or object to how we use it. Email admin@codeivy.co.uk and we’ll reply within a month. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
